Vanguard Apostolic

A short-lived record label produced from a collaboration between Vanguard Records and producer John Townley (2) and his 10th Street Productions and Apostolic Studios. The label was launched in 1968 and concentrated on Jazz, Blues and other avant-garde music. A handful of releases, including initial Lps from Larry Coryell, were issued before the label was shuttered in 1971 after the release of [m203879].
