Composers In Person

'Composers in Person' is a series of CD reissues, devised by Ken Jagger and compiled exclusively from EMI recordings made between 1904 and 1958 by composers, as instrumentalists or conductors, in performances of their own music. In all cases, EMI Classics has sought out the finest originals (metals, 78s or master tapes) for use in the transfers to CD. The discs were first issued as individual full price CDs during 1993-1997 and in 2008 were released together in a 22-CD box with the series title (Composers in Person).
