Polydor S.A.

French subsidiary of Polydor International, established 1 July 1956. Previously known as Société Phonographique Française Polydor S.A. (1927-1956). Merged in May 1985 into PolyGram S.A. France Besides marketing and sales, it also operated a studio as well as a vinyl and cassette manufacturer. For the Spanish division, use Polydor, S.A. For the Venezuelan division, use Polydor S.A. (2) For the Mexican division, use Polydor, S.A. (3)
