Juke Box 100th Anniversary

RCA Records celebrated 100 years of coin operated phonographs with most of their 1988/89 45 RPM singles. First released in late 1949, RCA developed the 7 inch 45 RPM record before World War II, but shelved it until wartime manufacturing recovered. Seeburg working in secret with RCA to develop the first 45 RPM jukebox, the M100B of 1950.
