Fopneus Tapes

New Darkness Recordings has a history. Before founding New Darkness in 1997, The people involved had another label, which released their music on cassettetapes. Most of the music brought out was not serious and meant to be funny. Sometimes it was. Also there was some amateur-powernoise and experimental stuff. Some of it might be rereleased at a later time. The label was called "FOPNEUS"which is dutch for "Fakenose". There also was a sublabel with the same name, which did sell bootleg tapes from a few known artists. They are not included. The listing is chaotic in it's catalog numbers. But this is the chronological order. I think. I'm not sure anymore. Anyway: these are releases which have been actually made. Some in editions of only one copy. Other more, and were handed out to friends. Some of them actually sold a few copies.
