Oktav (2)

Danish label started 1957/58, originally as Diplom hi-fi-Records, then Diplom/Oktav and finally just Oktav. Except for a very few rock releases, the label primarily released pop, schlager, folk and childrens music. Label folded in the early 70's and main producer Jørgen Kleinert continued with some of the labels artists, John Mogensen a.o. on his Play Records (7) and KMF labels. Affiliated publishing company is Oktav Musik.
