The Gramophone And Typewriter Ltd.
Настоящее имя: The Gramophone And Typewriter Ltd.
The Gramophone And Typewriter Ltd. was formed in December 1900 by the owners of the UK's The Gramophone Co. Ltd. and The Gramophone Co., Ltd., Calcutta. The company was restructured because the founder (William Barry Owen) had gained manufacturing rights for The Lambert Typewriter Company. It acquired the shares in the earlier The Gramophone Co. Ltd. and that company was folded. However, in 1907, with the the failure of the typewriter business, the company name was changed to The Gramophone Company Ltd.
In 1973, it was renamed again as EMI Records Ltd. and again, in 2013, as Parlophone Records Ltd.
