Stadsschouwburg, Maastricht

City theatre of Maastricht (Netherlands), colloquially known as the Bonbonnière (candy box). Known as the Netherlands' oldest theatre, it is housed in a 17th century Jesuit church turned into a theater in 1786. It got the name of Stadsschouwburg in 1877 and closed in 1992. In 1996 it reopened as event location, but is only occasionally used for performances anymore.
