Fukunaga Record Production
Настоящее имя: Fukunaga Record Production
Fukunaga Record Production (sometimes written as FRP or F.R.P., Japanese: 福永レコードプロダクション or フクナガレコードプロダクション) was a Japanese record company that existed in the 1930s.
The company was established in Yamashina-ku, Kyoto in 1933 (or 1934) by 福永孝蔵 (Kōzō Fukunaga), who was a recording engineer for Orient Record, Nitto Record and Tsuru.
The main label at the time of establishment is Étoile. The Étoile label started selling records in 1934.
In 1937, FRP established "Telefunken" as the successor label to Étoile, but the relationship between FRP and German Telefunken is unknown. Incidentally, 大日本雄辯會講談社 (Dai Nippon Yubenkai Kodansha) formally made a partnership with Germany Telefunken and established Nippon Telefunken in 1935, before the "FRP's Telefunken" was established.
