Saarstahl Gmbh

The locations of Saarstahl AG have not only a long tradition, but also the history of the country. The Neunkirchen plant is already mentioned in 1593. This makes it the most traditional location of Saarstahl AG and at the same time the oldest still active steel location in Germany. Disciples are Burbach and Völklingen, which were founded in 1856 and 1873 in the wake of the increasing industrialization of Germany. In the 1970s, the current locations merged to form a company that has been operating as Saarstahl AG since 1989 - a worldwide long-product manufacturer.
