Prestige Folklore

Formed in September 1963 as an off-shoot of Prestige by its president, Bob Weinstock, and devoted to "American folk music...bluegrass, white blues, Negro blues or laments, folk-jazz or traditional folk songs." Label was managed by Samuel B. Charters.
