Absalons Kirke, København

Danish defunct parish church located in the Vesterbro district of Copenhagen. Build 1933-34 and inaugurated on 2 September 1934, it replaced a wooden building popularly known as "cykelskuret" (English: The bicycle shed) that had been used since 1919. In 2014 Absalons Kirke was one of the six churches in Copenhagen that were closed by the Danish Ministry of Culture. It was sold by the Danish state and the new owner converted into a community house under the name Folkehuset Absalon.
