RoJam

1960s soul label from Indianapolis, Indiana. "Amazing Love" was the only track ever recorded on RoJam. It was originally supposed to be recorded on the "Major" Label, which was owned by Paul Major, the manager of "James Bell & The Highlighters". After distributing their "limited number" of promo copies to various people within the music industry, it transpired that their manager had pressed several hundred copies for himself to sell. When James and his band members got wind of this they sacked their manager, and lost their recording deal. So, they decided to go ahead and do their own recording on the RoJam Label with the release number 001. As a get back to their former manager Paul Major the label name RoJam is Major spelled backwards.
