Mr Music

Everything started in 1982 when the DJ Hans "Hasse Z" Berglund and the business man Tommy Johansson got the brilliant idea to sell compilation cassettes via mail order. In the beginning of the 90s the CDs took over all could sell up to 160 000 copies per month. They started with cassettes and released a mixed tape each month sold through subscription. It was called Mr Music, cat# started with MMMC followed by a 4-digit number. Their first CD was released in August 1988, cat# started with MMCD followed by the same 4-digit number as MMMC. Mr Music has since the start in Sweden also been active in both Germany and Estonia over the years. December 2016 Mr Music stopped the distribution of CD's and made the last issue. This label contains releases on multinational markets. Do NOT create imprints for different countries.
