Paris-headquartered digital music company Believe has acquired Venus Music, one of India’s iconic music record labels and part of Venus Worldwide Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. which was previously Venus (12) . With the deal in place, Venus Music will now be rebranded as Ishtar. The acquisition covers all music rights of Venus Music, which has a strong catalogue of Indian film and non-film music, including Bollywood, regional, pop, classical, ghazals, qawwalis, devotional and instrumental.
