Elementree Records
Настоящее имя: Elementree Records
Elementree Records was a record label founded in March of 1998 as a joint venture between the nu-metal band Korn, their management company, The Firm (2) (owned by Jeff Kwatinez and Michael Green (3)), and major record labels Reprise Records/Warner Music Group. Though Korn was at the time signed to Immortal Records, an imprint of Epic Records owned by Sony Music Entertainment, Elementree Records was a subsidiary of Reprise Records which was owned by Warner Music Group/WEA International. Brian Sirgutz was named president of Elementree Records, a position he also held at Witchouse Records. Elementree Records has been on a hiatus since 2007.
The first band signed to Elementree Records was Orgy. Then followed Cradle Of Thorns in 1997, which changed name to Videodrone in 1998 and Fear No Mob. Orgy's debut full-length, "Candyass" was the first output by the record label, released on August 11th 1998. Other bands that signed with Elementree include Deadsy, Marz (7), RBX and The Drama (3).
