Universal Record Co., Ltd. (2)

A Japanese record company established in June 1958. The founder, 成田清 (Kiyoshi Narita), originally belonged to Compagnie Japonaise Du Disque, but he had a disagreement with the founder, André Calabuig, and started the company independently. This company acted as the distributor for Les Discophiles Français and L'Oiseau-Lyre, Barclay, Fonit, and HiFi Records.
