Independent UK Label based in Stoke Newington, London. The label was set up by the manager of Little Barrie at the time, longtime underground DJ, promoter, writer and remixer, Colin Baynes. The debut Release was a plain sleeved AA side 7” single by Little Barrie. There is also a very limited edition of 50 picture cover numbered fold over sleeves. Burned Out and the flip side Buy My Style were both recorded during a weekly recording session at West Heath Yard Studios in West Hampstead, London. Edwyn Collins invited the band to record with him at his famous West Heath Yard Studios for a single release, 3 tracks were initially recorded, both these tracks and a third track which would later be included on the debut LP We Are Little Barrie. Edwyn was ably assisted by Seb Lewsley and after the success from the single recording sessions a further 20 weekly sessions concluded with enough tracks to create a stunning debut LP. The label also recorded the Paul Weller Route if Kings support slot that Little Barrie played at Hyde Park, London July 28th 2002. This video is currently unreleased at the moment.
