Better Books

Better Books, founded by Tony Goodwin in London was an independent bookshop that was important to the counter-culture scene of the 1960's. Lawrence Ferlinghetti and Goodwin did an experimental employee swap in 1964. Better Books released 2 LP's of spoken word poetry in 1965, one by Ferlinghetti and the other by Alan Ginsberg.
