MDNGHT Recordings

MDNGHT Recordings is an offbrand sublabel of Spinnin' Records, this means that it's operated by them but doesn't get any kind of promotion like a normal sublabel does. This is highly likely to be due to the label's popularity and fanbase wich mainly focuses on mainstream music leaving almost zero space left for different sounds, to a marketing decision of keeping these kind of releases away from the main imprint or just an experiment, something that isn't new to Spinnin' Records with releases on their White Label and SPXNNXN' RXCØRDS divisions having low and almost no promotion at all in some cases (for example not appearing on Spinnin's website) Pretty much is unknown about MDNGHT; it started off in late 2019 and went discontinued on early 2020, then in late 2022 the label had a revival and it's currently releasing music on a regular schedule from acts like Hi_Tack, 71 Digits and Kim Kaey, all of them being currently signed to the Dutch Spinnin' label. What started as a Melodic House & Techno division has now made a transition into releasing feel-good House cuts, mostly reworks of classic Pop & Dance tracks transformed into pieces of old school-tinged House music. This classic feeling attached to the label's releases seems to be MDNGHT's main goal, as seen in many posts on it's socials related to nostalgia and how this kind of music makes us feel it.
