Polygram Musik Vertrieb

German PolyGram division for distribution. Best known by the abbreviation 'PMV'. Founded to start from 01.01.1986 by merging the three German Polygram companies Deutsche Grammophon (which was the local company name - based on tradition of the "yellow label" - instead of Polydor for the rest of the world), Phonogram and Metronome. PMV was e.g. used as distributor by Metronome Musik GmbH and credited with "Ein Produkt der Metronome Musik GmbH, Hamburg, im Vertrieb von PMV."
