Настоящее имя: Powderworks
Powderworks Records and Tapes Pty Ltd was established in 1970 as M7 Records, a joint venture between three media companies with distribution handled by The Paul Hamlyn Record Division (1971-1974), Tempo Record Sales (1974-1976) and was self distributed from 1976-1978.

M7 Records became 7 Records Pty Ltd. in May 1978 and distribution was passed to RCA Australia. A management buyout in 1981 saw the company being renamed Powderworks Records and Tapes Pty Ltd. The company was sold to an investment banker in 1986 and went into liquidation in 1987. The catalogue and pressing plant was sold to the building's landlord who briefly operated as Evasound Records and Tapes Pty Ltd before selling the catalogue to Ken Broad of Broad Music and scrapping the manufacturing equipment.
Powderworks operated a record pressing plant from the outset and acquired the business of Idris Tape Duplicators to bring cassette duplication in-house. Powederworks manufactured and marketed various labels under license, including Mute, Beggars Banquet and 4AD amongst others.
