The Old Rectory, Bedfordshire

Was a private dwelling near Eversholt, Bedfordshire, UK, that abutted the Woburn wildlife safari park and was then part of the Duke of Bedford's estate. During the creation of the [m80626] album Karl Wallinger looked for a remote location where he could write and record songs for the album. He was pointed in the direction of this old rectory, which at the time was being used by painter Edward Durdey, who created the Elephant's ears for the [m80626] album and the back cover monoprint on the [m80632] album.
