Studio Cobra (2)

Studio Cobra was a Ljubljana based (then part of Yugoslavia) cassette publishing house. Production started in the second part of the 80s and lasted into the early 90s. Their tapes were mainly sold in the Ljubljana markets where they competed against simmilar cassette publishers such as Studio Spaka, Studio Asterix ect., some tapes were also sold via mail order. Unlike Studio Spaka who later after being raided by the authorities turned into Menart records, Studio Cobra never had any sort of resurgence and by the mid 90s ceased to exist. Earlier tapes are distinguishable by their green stamp on both sides of tape, while later ones had blue ones, by that time they had also switched to higher quality chrome tape.
