Locked On
Настоящее имя: Locked On
UK Garage label launched in 1996 by Tarik Nashnush in the Pure Groove record shop stock room.
The label started off releasing compilation albums focusing on the pirate radio sound in London at the time. (See Locked On (2) for the related series.)
In collaboration with XL Recordings, Locked On built a reputation for their singles catalogue which included crossover success with Artful Dodger’s ‘Moving Too Fast’, Wideboys 'Sambuca' and Zed Bias ‘Neighbourhood’.
Its biggest success was signing The Streets to the label, whose sophomore album ‘A Grand Don’t Come For Free’ sold 4× Platinum and reached number 1 in the UK album charts.
