DIY hardcore/punk label, run by the band Deconditioned. American Independent Label founded and owned by A. Matthew Foley (a.k.a. Matt Foley). In 2006 label name changed to Beginning Era Records, starting with the Deconditioned 7" single, 'Big Act b/w Compartment K3'. It is the same label, with same owner - all releases go under B.E. - Label was founded in Seattle, WA, 2001 to release the Lords of Lightspeed 12" 45rpm LP (featuring ex-members of Mulilkteo Fairies, the Hoodwinks, & Behead the Prophet N.L.S.L., and future members of Wolves in the Throneroom and Select Sex), alongside any and all releases the owner plays on, or finds interesting and compelling, including local west coast (mainly Seattle/Olympia/Portland/L.A.) and worldwide noise rock, punk/hardcore, post-punk, metal, psych, and various related genres/subgenres.
