Gamla Folkan, Ludvika

An abandoned cinema in the old Folkets Hus in the Swedish town of Ludvika, used for concerts by Ludvika Musikforum in the mid 1970s. The first Musikforum concert was by Samla Mammas Manna late 1973, and they were followed at Gamla Folkan by (among others) Archimedes Badkar, Fläsket Brinner, Kebnekajse, Arbete Och Fritid, Nynningen, Sumpens Swingsters, Piska Mig Hårt, Anna Själv Tredje, Mora Träsk, Elektriska Linden, Bazar (3), Kaipa and Solen Skiner. For various reasons, Ludvika Musikforum could not use Gamla Folkan very long, but they continued arranging concerts for a couple of years elsewhere in the town.
