Flat Town Music Company

Flat Town Music Company is an American record company and publishing company based in Ville Platte, Louisiana. It was founded by Floyd Soileau in 1957, a year after he opened his record store, Floyd's Record Store. Currently the company consists of four labels, Swallow Records, Jin Records (both founded in 1958), Maison de Soul and Kom-A-Day Records. Swallow's focus is on French language Cajun music, Jin's on swamp pop and Cajun fusion while Maison de Soul is mainly releasing zydeco.
