Telefunken Capitol
Настоящее имя: Telefunken Capitol
From October 1948 to 1955, German Capitol records were produced by Telefunken and later Teldec (Telefunken-Decca), using original US Capitol masters.
These were branded Telefunken Capitol (usually black and silver labels but also on dark blue or dark red labels).
Until May 1949, releases carry the French censoring statement "Censure G.M.F.G.B Visa Nr. 1-4/II-46".
Until November 1949, all shellacs were pressed in Hennigsdorf, a former AEG factory near Berlin.
From December 1949 onwards, shellacs and records were pressed at Teldec Press GmbH in Nortorf.
The 80 000 series was used for releases not identical with the US couplings.
In 1957, the catalogue was taken over by the Electrola company, using the same order numbers but prefixed with F.
