Black Lantern Music

Black Lantern Music is a label founded in 2009 by a collective of musicians from Edinburgh, Scotland. We specialise in hip-hop, electronic and experimental music. We're a home for experimental music from Scotland and around the world - we have artists as far away as Canada, Ukraine, the USA, France, and Russia, as well as local talent from Edinburgh, Glasgow, Aberdeen, Fife and beyond.  We release through multiple channels – all releases are archived here on the site. Most of our releases are available free or as pay-what-you-want downloads, and we are starting to specialise in limited edition physical releases too.  As independent musicians, we are beholden to nobody – we make and release exactly the kinds of music we want to hear.  @blacklanterns
