SIDRA Records Inc.

US soul label and record company active in the 1960s in Detroit, Michigan, likely founded by Johnny Powers (real name John Pavlik). Also appears as "Sidra Records Incorporated". The label was owned by Bob D'Orleans For unofficial releases, see Sidra Records Inc. (2). Promotion for the label was handled by Bob Szilagy and Bill Craig. In 1967 Sidra merged with Sound, Inc. which was owned by John's brother Larry Pavlik (AKA Larry Lick) to form Sound/Sidra. The president of the new company was Raymond Jackson. A compilation of the label's productions was released by Outta Sight as 4985950.
