Настоящее имя: The Black Jaguar Music Company
ASCAP-affiliated music publisher
The Black Jaguar Music Company was founded by American songwriter Cat Ellington in 1982 after she completed her third song work titled "Gluttony (The Shell)," which she wrote for Barbra Streisand. Originally dubbed Black Jaguar Songs, Ellington later changed the company name to correspond with her growing list of musical works. To date, the house - also known by its motto, Where the Blank Page is First Priority - is the primary publisher of the 24-genre Cat Ellington song catalog.
Five original debut songs written and produced by Ellington through The BJMC, and selected by its publishing partners, Vital Vision Film Music, Dark Planet Publishing, and Vital Vision Records, to appear on Dual Mania (The Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) include "The Book of Us," "I Do," "I'm Still in Love," "Gett Out," and "Something in Your Eyes."
