Sometime in early 2000's - Comdata sold its audiotape trucking magazine, SuperDriver, to J. Stein Publishers, Inc. of Nashville, TN.
Jim Stein, Chairman of J. Stein Publishers, Inc., was the original founder of the 10-year-old monthly magazine on cassette. Similar to a book-on-tape, SuperDriver is an audio magazine tailored to the lifestyle of the trucking industry in a three-hour format. Some larger SuperDriver customers, including J.B. Hunt, Schneider, FedEx and UPS, customize their tapes to provide a personalized corporate audio newsletter for their fleets.
Super Driver was registered on Tuesday, December 18, 1990 and is currently owned by J. Stein Pulishers, Inc. under the registration number 1628115 .
