1970s-1980s country label from Dallas, Texas, founded by Larry McBride. It also had an office in Nashville, Tennessee and was the original label for Alabama. When Alabama's final release for MDJ looed like it was going to be a hit, RCA offered the group a substantial sum for recording a full album. Since MDJ didn't have an album contract with the group, there was nothing they could do.
