Please note that this label has nothing to do with Bertelsmann Music Group. Dutch label BmG stands for "Band met God" ('relationship with God'; "band" also means "tape" so it's also referring to 'tape recording about God') Started as a foundation (Stichting "De Band Met God") for distributing taped sermons and singing with christian content to people who are unable to go to church. A few early releases only show "Stichting De Band Met God" and use the identifing code related to the pressing plant in Baarn as catalogue number (see Phonodisc B.V.).
