CERT

Established in November 1988 as the "CERT Coordination Center" in response to the Morris worm incident, the CERT Division (not an acronym) is a part of the Software Engineering Institute at the Carnegie Mellon University. An internet crisis response and security advisory team, it also works closely with the US Department of Homeland Security and provides numerous literature and podcasts via their website.
