Rondo (5)

Small German label from Berlin. active in the 1950's / 1960's. The Rondo label is one of (at least) four labels, which were distributed and/or manufactured by Phonocolor GmbH. others were Topas (only LPs), Okay (2), Okay Exquisit and Colibri (5). Rondo and Okay (2) were further divided in series, which coexisted either as plain label or with the line 'Spezial' and 'Exquisit'. For Okay this were Okay, Okay Spezial and Okay Exquisit, for Rondo Rondo, Rondo Spezial and Rondo Exquisit. All these six "sublabels" shared the catalogue numbers, means catalogue numbers are only consistent, when both labels are summarized.
