Smash Hits! Magazine

This label should only be used for the free compilations Smash Hits Magazine used to give away with its issues in the UK. British pop music magazine, launched 1978, which issued numerous cover-mounted flexi-discs and (later) cassettes. During the 1980s British synth-pop boom it was the biggest-selling music publication in the UK and was responsible for giving early mainstream exposure to bands such as Depeche Mode, The Human League and Eurythmics.
