As part of Music Networx and with offices in LA, New York, Cologne and London, simfy live was an internet platform that offered music streaming services as well as "an extensive catalog of current concert recordings, exciting tour information and a variety of special offers along with unusual and sometimes rare archival footage." Most relevant, however, are the (audio and/or video) concert recordings of artists such as Simply Red, Mark Knopfler, Elton John, Iggy Pop, Alice Cooper, Die Fantastischen Vier, and Kiss that were made via a mobile studio and offered for sale via download, as collectable USB data sticks (so-called "Concert Sticks"), or as proper CDs.
