Capitol Nashville Masters Series

Short-lived series from 1990-1991 that featured unique Contemporary Jazz and New Age recordings from solo and session artists. This Series was originally established by country music producer Jimmy Bowen in 1989 as Universal Master Series to oversee recordings of non-country artists, primarily instrumentalists. When MCA Records terminated this series there, Bowen moved the signed artists to Capitol Records to continue the Series here.
