Myrland Films

Starting in Berlin in 2010, the focus of Myrland Films has been the development of fiction and documentary films. The name Myrland Films has been inspired by a small place on Flakstadøya (Lofoten), Nordland, Norway, during the research process of the films "Nordland" and "Voice", which were filmed in Northern Norway. Myrland Films has been working and planning projects with a variety of artists, musicians, filmmakers and festival curators in many different regions all across Norway and Germany. In 2019 and 2020 Myrland Films has been publishing a series of 51 short films about the 50-year-long history of ECM Records.
