Feist-Belmont is the name of a family from Alzey who played an important role in the wine and sparkling wine business in the 19th and 20th centuries. The connection came about through the marriage of Elisabeth Belmont to Stefan Feist from Koblenz, whose mother was a née Rothschild. The company operated under the name Feist-Belmont'sche Sektkellerei AG in Frankfurt and Trier.
