Complicit Recordings Ltd

Complicit Recordings is a Brighton based House & Electonica label. Launched in 2000 and originally only releasing vinyl, we enjoyed niche success in our first few years catering to the progressive / tech scene, with singles such as James Black's "Dark Light," Platonic's "Origin of the Species," and the seminal techno offerings of Parke & Rhyde. Trips to Miami, Ibiza and Acton brought in a new collection of artists and influences, such as Biasfilth and File 69, further bolstering the reputation of the label. 2005 saw Parke & Rhyde's, "Omega Alpha," appear on Gayle San's U60311 Compilation Techno Division Vol. 5, Platonic's, "Genesis," feature on the respected Trancemaster (4004) series of compilations, and Arque, Ocean Blue and James Black all make appearances on DJ Keri's "Can you Feel It?" album. The back catalogue is now becoming available for the first time online, with many of the tracks available to download for free. We are embarking on a major digital release schedule, with some of the new material available to listen to and one or two gems free to download as well.
