Pibigas

The history of Pibigas belongs to the figure of the entrepreneur Attilio Monti (Ravenna, 8 October 1906 - Cap D'Antibes, 23 December 1994) founder of the Sarom refining company, of which he was president, who was also the owner of Eridania as well as of the newspapers «Il Resto del Carlino» and «La Nazione», which today belong to the heirs (Monti-Riffeser group). The Sarom group was also the head of Pibigas which entered the cylinder gas sector in the 1950s, becoming a fierce competitor of ENI for supremacy in the cylinder market.
