PMI (Produttori Musicali Indipendenti) is the Association that gathers Italian music entrepreneurs determined to support the rights of independent production so that the musical offer is increasingly rich and articulate and less homologated to the logic of multinationals. PMI wants to help Italian independent music production find the economic and productive resources needed to promote our creativity in Italy and abroad. PMI wants music production to be given the same status as a cultural enterprise rightly recognised in film and publishing. PMI wants to push for change and accompany the evolution of music production along the path positively beaten by national film production. PMI wants independent music producers to continue to invest their own skills and resources by having access to the many sources of direct and indirect funding of cultural activities
