Cleveland, Ohio's Audio Recording Studios was founded in 1953 by Juliard violinist Vlad Maleckar. For a time it resided the same building as the WKYC Radio studios on E. 6th Street. In 1986, Maleckar sold the studios to Cleveland studio engineer / producer Bruce Gigax, who built new studios in suburban Bentleyville. Services include studio and on-location recording, mixing, and post-production audio. Artists recorded at Audio Recording include Joe Jeffries, Michael Stanley, Tom Scott, and a number of live classical performances for Cleveland's WCLV Radio. Engineers known to have worked here include George Stage and Don White (5).
