Beethoven - The Complete Symphonies (Kempe, WRC)

World Record Club series of quadrophonic LPs first issued in 1975, and reissued until 1979. WRC kept a cycle of Beethoven symphonies current during most of its existence, all starting with K (or C): Krips, Cluytens, Klemperer, Kempe, Karajan, Kleiber... Also issued, at least initially, on reel-to-reel, cassette and 8-track. Issued, in the standard WRC manner, in the same sleeve design with different colour schemes, here confined to the WRC and quad logos and the title font. First editions are identifiable by the laminate strip running down the right side of the back of the sleeve. Final editions do not have the word "stereo" at bottom left of the labels.
