Oska
Настоящее имя: Oska
Oska Products was a music label set up in 1987 by schoolfriends Jod Russell and Paul Mansbridge to release songs by the bands they were in and supported. Their first releases were cassette-only affairs, and included output by low-fi Brighton bands such as Baby Abattoir Casualty, Eating the Voltage, Das Ist Fisch and Infant Consumption. Distribution and advertising was all done by hand.
Russell and Mansbridge's joint musical ventures faltered, and by 1993 Mansbridge had nothing to do with the label. Russell looked beyond Brighton, releasing music by groups such as The Mountain Goats, Tea Culture, Prick Decay and his own experimental group Bovine Over Sussex W.
Oska is believed to be defunct since 2001.
