Dutch non profit foundation involved in the promotion of classic jazz defined by them as encompassing the many forms of traditional jazz from the period 1900-1955 like ragtime, hot dance, swing, early bop and cool jazz, mainstream, revival, rhythm & blues, old blues and gospel. They produce the magazine Doctor Jazz Magazine, organise Doctor Jazz meetings release CD's documenting Dutch jazz history on their Doctor Jazz (3) label etc.
