Austrian Shellac label, name used by The Gramophone Co. Ltd. in Austria between late 1920 and February 1930 as the result of litigation with the Deutsche Grammophon-Aktiengesellschaft over who owned the copyright to the trademarks "His Master's Voice" and Nipper.
Starting in 1922, Gramola records sold in Austria were produced by The Gramophone Co. Ltd.'s Czech branch, The Gramophone Company (Czechoslovakia) Ltd., spol. s r.o., at Ústi nad Labem (in German: Aussig an der Elbe).
